Burial Service Packages

Funeral costs can be very confusing. Often times, funeral homes quote what seems like a low price, but do not include other costs.  Or, hidden costs will be added after you have chosen to utilize their services. We have made pricing transparent and easier to understand through our website.  The price for services we give you over the phone or that you see on this site will be the price that you will pay.

Please note:  Cash advance items and cemetery expenses are not included.  Some funeral homes fail to disclose these additional fees, which include cemetery expenses, honoraria (clergy, musicians, soloists), certified death certificates, etc.  Funeral cash advances can range from $500 to $2,000 depending on your choice of service, whether a burial plot has been secured, which area cemetery is preferred, etc.  Also, cemeteries and vault companies typically charge more for burials that take place on weekends and holidays, which can add a minimum of $300 to your funeral cost.  Prices listed below also do not include the cost of the following:  obituaries, caskets, outer burial containers, and cemetery equipment.  We will be happy to provide you a quote so that you will have an estimate that is as accurate as possible.

Final note:  During winter months, certain area cemeteries are closed.  In such cases, caskets are secured in cemetery vaults and burials occur several days or weeks after the funeral service.  A delayed interment charge will also be assessed to schedule a burial at a later date in the spring, including the use of transportation and other equipment.

Funeral Service in a Church or Other Location

This service includes a community visitation or viewing at the funeral home.  A funeral service would take place at an off-site location thereafter, followed by burial.

• Embalming, dressing, casketing, and cosmetics
• Funeral home facility and personnel for viewing
• Set-up and supervision outside funeral home
• Use of hearse

Funeral Service in our Funeral Home

This service involves the both community viewing or visitation and the funeral service occurring at the funeral home on the same day, with burial following the service.

• Transfer of deceased from the place of death to the funeral home
• Embalming, dressing, casketing, cosmetics
• Funeral home facility and personnel for viewing and funeral service
• Use of hearse
• Supervision of committal and use of equipment at cemetery on a weekday

This service involves a community viewing or visitation only, with the committal immediately following.

• Use of suburban or van

This service includes no community visitation or viewing.  Since this service includes no embalming, the funeral must take place within 48 hours of death.
